Pune: Schools and colleges in Pune will reopen from February 1, announce Ajit Pawar, Deputy Minister of Maharashtra, Saturday.
It will be four hours (half a day) class for class 1 to 8 while grade 9 to 10 will have a school in accordance with a regular schedule.
“Schools and colleges will reopen in Pune District from February 1.
For grade 1 to 8, school timings will be half of the ordinary timings, but for grade 9 to 10, the school will run according to a regular schedule.
Universities will also function as per regular time, “said Pawar.
However, Deputy CM also searched for parents’ opinions regarding the reopening of educational institutions.
“The approval of parents will be asked to attend school.
Further decisions for grade 1 to 8 will be taken in the next meeting”, Panwar said.
According to pawar, reopening schools for class 9 and on the willingness to help increase vaccination.
For college, students who have received both vaccine doses will only be allowed to attend offline classes.
