Pune: SPM English school students Soham Wad (who prepared the project in ‘Jalneti – size to fight against the Covid-19 – Kadam gold medal) and Sahera Kadam won a bronze medal for the project in the competition Dr.
Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik for students VI and IX year by the Great Bombay Science Science Association.
This competition is carried out in three rounds – theory test, practical and project + interview.
The students are expected to prepare ‘action research projects’ on the topic given in the third round.
Interviews are carried out based on the project.
Medals are given to students who qualify for the third round.
Forty-eight students from the SPM English School appeared for this competition.
Soham Wad, Jay Kelkar and Sahera Kadam Class IX was chosen for a practical round.
They must prepare projects on the topic ‘prevention of infection and measure control’ and can choose sub-topics below this main topic.

This contest is part of the international Zenik Innovation Summit held from 21 to 23 May.
During the webinar, students must learn about research conducted by postgraduate and research students, and also about the latest research and innovation that occurs in the fields of art, humanities and social sciences.
The heating session was held on May 2 for class III students through X.
The session on critical thinking for class III to V and others about failure management for class VI to X was carried out on May 9.
International Summit is based on innovative and imaginative skills.
Various activities on design thinking are also organized.
