Pune: A three-year-old boy was killed and his parents were injured after a car that quickly hit their motorcycle at Undri at around 7:30 p.m.
on Saturday.
Kethwa police said they had identified the car and the driver and would immediately take action.
Mohsin Mujawar, the father of the late boy, Zaid, filed a complaint to the police.
The Father is an employee of Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC).
The Mujawar, residents of Sangvi, have gone to relatives in undri and returned home when the accident occurred, police said.
Senior Inspector Sardar Patil from Police Khay told Tii, “Mohsin, his wife Reshma and Zaid had gone to where their relatives in Undri.
After meeting them, the family returned home on their motorcycle when the father was lost and took the wrong change in the area Mohammadwadi.
After asking for directions, he decided to take U-turn.
However, as soon as he turned, a car that quickly crashed into a motorcycle.
“Patil said Mohsin and Reshma fell on the road while Zaid landed in front of the car.
“He was dragged a few meters before the car stopped.
Fighter brought a family member to the nearest hospital,” he said.
The police have registered a rash and negligence and death due to negligence against the driver of the car.
“Further legal action will begin with the driver of the car after studying the entire accident in detail,” Patil said.
