Pune: The person who is physically chilled was killed in a fire in Godown wood in Pune City on Sunday, police said.
According to Brigade officials, they received a call around 3am about the flames at The Gagina located in the Sade Satananiali area in Hadapsar after a fire tanker in a hurry.
The fire went out at 6:30 a.m., they said.
“During the cooling process, the body charred by a man, who did not have legs, found in place.
The body has been sent for postmortem,” said an official from the Hadapansar Police Station.
The victim used to live in failure, he said.
The cause of the fire has not been confirmed, officials said.
