Pune: Police Bhosari arrested a 19-year-old young man on charges of stalking and disappointing the simplicity of a little girl and threatening his sister and friends at Gavane Vasti at around 4:30 p.m.
on Wednesday.
The incident occurred a few hours after the 17-year-old girl filed a complaint against young people because she misused her cellphone.
The minor returned home with the sister and her friend when young men intercepted and harassed it.
The police have applied for allegations of sexual educators and abuse, in addition, violations under the Pocso Law against young people.
Senior Inspector Bhaskar Jadhav from Police Hinjewadi told toi that the complainant and suspect were students.
“On Wednesday, he came to the police station and filed a complaint against young people because he misused it through a cellphone.
We registered a non-cognequable case against youth,” Jadhav said.
He said at around 4:30 p.m.
when the complainant with his friends and brother, the suspect stopped them.
“He asked the threat’s complainant who was released to him and touched it inappropriately.
When a female sister and companion tried to intervene, she threatened to kill them and escape,” Jadhav said.
The police have arrested him and the Pooja Kadam sub-inspector is investigating this case, he said.
