Pune: Police Hadapsar arrested three criminals for trying to rob steel from the DSK Dream City website in Phursungi, off Pune-Solapur Highway, after attacking one of the security guards at the project entrance, at 8:30 a.m.
on Tuesday.
Police on Tuesday night arrested Raj Pawar (22), Sanket Gaikwad (22), and Sumit Salve (22), all residents of the Kawadipat in Hadapsar.
They have cases of body violations and property towards them.
In the past three years, five complaints have been submitted with regard to steel theft, furniture, glass, vehicles, electronic goods, and other articles from the DSK Dream City website, police said.
Dream City’s premise has been wearing a lonely appearance since the developer Deepak Sakharam Kulkarni, aka DSK, was arrested in the case of cheating submitted to the Shivajinagar police.
The security guard was attacked (28), a resident of Hadapansar, has filed a complaint of the police immediately after the incident.
The police registered the case below the IPC 394 section (voluntarily caused injured in carrying out robbery) and 34 (general intentions) of the Indian punishment code.
Police said government agencies, who investigated the case of DSK cheating, had employed security guards to protect the property from thieves, as directed by the court.
According to the police, four security guards and their supervisors were on duty when the incident occurred.
The people who were arrested walked to the place of DSK Dream City when the security guard stopped them.
The suspects, armed with sharp weapons, attacked the guard and he fell on the ground.
He managed to increase the alarm and other security guards and the supervisor rushed to the place.
Police said one of the security guards managed to contact the police.
The police team sent to the site.
The suspects at that time had sheltered in a building.
But the police can catch them after search.
