Pune: Deputy Chairperson of the State of Ministers Ajit Pawar on Friday said Pune District will continue with the Level 3 Covid limit because there has been no significant change in the weekly ponytites since last week.
After meeting the weekly Covid review at the Hall Council here, he said the average weekly (WPR) level of the district of 6% with Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) registered 4.9%, PCMC (5%) and Pune Rural 7, 3% Wpr.
Pawar told the police to take tight action against vendors and hand cards seen on the road after a time limit of 4pm.
“Even though most stores maintained Timing, representatives were selected at the meeting, said that snack traders with handwriting looked far around 4pm in several places.
I have directed the police commissioner to take strict action against them,” Pawar, who is also a minister District guards, told the media.
Responding to reports about crowding in tourist attractions during business days, he said the police had been told to ensure there was no violation of the Covid protocol on a holiday like that.
Pawar urged residents who had been vaccinated not to complacent about the Covid protocol.
“Even if people have received a dose of Covid-19 vaccine, they must always wear a mask when it comes out.
The state assignment unit and health experts have directed people to strictly follow the Covid protocol even after vaccination,” he said.
