Pune: Head of the army, the Navy and the Air Force reviewed the cadet training and related infrastructure at the National Defense Academy (NDA) in Khadakwasla on Friday and Saturday.
The three heads of the current service are batchmates from the 56th NDA course.
“The last time the third time the Chairperson was a batch friend in 1991, in the first NDA course (intent of the shared wing) of course,” the NDA authority said.
Admiral Karambir Singh took over as the Naval Chief of Staff on May 31, 2019; Marshal Air Head Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria took over as head of air staff on September 30, 2019; And General M M Naravane was appointed as Army Chief of Staff on December 31, 2019.
Speaking on the third name of Chief, Admiral Karambir Singh reduced on the modern war trend that appeared.

The visit of the three chief of staff was significant considering the temporary order of the Supreme Court which allowed women to appear for the NDA entrance examination.
“Various problems related to training and infrastructure, including plans and challenges in the future, are discussed at length during the meeting,” said a senior officer of NDA.
The leaders pay homage in ‘Cottage Memory’, which commemorates NDA officers who are killed in a row of tasks.
The three heads of the service also visited their parent squadron – ‘Hunter’ (Admiral Karambir Singh) and ‘Lima’ (Gen Naravane and Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria) – and interact with the cadet of each squadron.
Interaction with the faculty and NDA staff are also organized towards the end of their visit.
The NDA authorities said the three chief visits to Alma Mater they jointly reaffirmed the passport spirit, which stands for Tri-Services Training Institute.
“Their visit to the academy has provided inspiration and pride in all cadets and will then catalyze them to fight for excellence in their military careers and strengthen the ‘spirit of friendship’ and ‘postgrades’ between three services,” he added.
