Pune: Pune Pune City has registered two different cases and arrested two people because they allegedly bet in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) match and seized total Rs 92.60 lakh and Rs 65,000 from their ownership.
Acting on information on bets in the IPL match, Pune police conducted a raid on Sunday and arrested two alleged Budiies identified as Ganesh Bhutada and Ashok Dehurodkar.
They have been arrested from the jurisdiction of the Samarth police station and the market market police station.
Prima facies the two defendants have an international link, alleged police.
Further investigation is underway.
