Pune: Police Pimpri Chinchwad on Wednesday claimed to have detected a four-year-old murder case with the arrest of two men.
Duo Ankuksh Khadse (30) from Chinchwad and Wisnu Chitte (31) from Rawatani has pampered an unknown human, around 30 years old, to death on January 24, 2017, in Rahanani.
The police have not confirmed the victim’s identity.
Recently, the suspect Khadse, who was drunk, told a man about his involvement in the murder.
“The person is the Constable Police Informant Nitin Genggge.
The police team led by Senior Inspector Vivek Mugalikar put a trap and took Khadse to detention,” said Police Commissioner Pimpri Chinchwad Krishna Prakash.
He said that during the sustainable question Khadse admitted that he and his friend Chitte had killed one person.
On January 24, 2017, the suspects consumed liquor in Pimpri.
The victim, who had been drunk came to them and demanded liquor from them.
He consumed liquor with them.
The duo then took him to Jalaki on his motorcycle and tried to seize him.
“When the victim rejected them, the duo spoiled him to death and took Rs 200, which they found in his wallet,” Krishna Prakash said.
Meanwhile, after news about the arrest of Khadse spread, his chitte escaped from his house.
“Our team found it in Alandi on Tuesday, where he lived with beggars,” Commissioner said.
