Pune: Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Saturday said the district would definitely have a definite international airport.
“There is no need at this time to announce the location.
But it was convinced that Pune would have an international airport with two air strikes.
This facility will serve not only for Pune but also to neighboring districts,” he said, after meeting the Covid District Review.
Ajit Pawar also requested PMC and the State Irrigation Department to accelerate the implementation of plans to limit water losses in urban and rural pockets.
He said the irrigation department was told to install water losses from the canal.
There are no plans to introduce alternative day supplies in the city, he added.
