Pune: A family member of a 51-year-old Pune brain died donated his lungs to benefit a 61-year-old man claimed to be in a private hospital in Chennai because of the lung failure on Wednesday.
The hearts of women and both kidneys also provide new leases of life to three patients who need other two different hospitals in Pune on the same day.
This is the second case of multi-organ contributions in Pune so far this year.
