Pune: 43-year-old female officers from the Indian Army were found depending on their official accommodation at the Military Intelligence Training School and Depot (MINTSD) here in Maharashtra on Wednesday, police said.
The army and police suspected it became a suicide case.
The incident was revealed in the morning when the staff left serving tea to Lieutenant Colonel-Rank Officer.
He was found depending on Dupatta on his neck, an official said.
According to the police, Lieutenant Colonel came to Mintsd for training.
He has several domestic problems and has proposed divorce, said Namrata Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone V).
“We have launched the probe to death,” DCP said.
In a statement, the Army authorities have said that an incident is likely to commit suicide by an officer has occurred at the school of military intelligence training and depot, Pune.
Officers were undergoing courses at the Institute, he said.
Cases with civilian police have been registered and the army gives all assistance in the investigation, the word liberation.
