Pune: Dattawadi police on Friday night arrested two young men and a female writer, and recovered seven sharp weapons, including the sword used to cut birthday cakes in Janata Vasawat last month.
“We initially arrested the young man who celebrated his birthday, Ritesh Packke (19), and his friend Aditya Nalawade (19) after they posted a photo-in it they were seen cutting cakes with swords and holding two long crescent,” Senior said.

Indalkar said the young men revealed that they bought a sword and two other weapons from Ironsmith, Prem Pawar (24) from Bhor.” They said they ordered four more weapons.
We caught the pawar and restore weapons, “he said.
Indalkar said the pawar was arrested as, while manufacturing and selling sharp tools was not a crime, he did not maintain weapons records sold to the suspects.
