PUNE: Covid-19 vaccines might soon become available in the neighborhood hospitals in the metropolitan and rural regions of the district, using private and small health care hubs searching more than 33.5 lakh doses of both Covishield and Covaxin for hepatitis drives.
In accordance with caregivers, over 400 hospitals at the district have required 26 lakh doses of both Covishield along with 7.5 lakh doses of Covaxin.
The supply to such hospitals will be eased by the Union authorities and beneficiaries will need to cover it.
Sanjay Deshmukh, assistant manager (medical), told TOI,”About 471 hospitals in the district have required a joint 26 lakh doses of both Covishield along with 7.5 lakh doses of Covaxin.
