Jaipur: The day after the state government prohibits sales and explodes firecrackers until January 31, 2022 with the notification of fresh gazettes, punishment for violating the prohibition has also been introduced.
A shopkeeper found that the sale of firecrackers will draw a fine of RS10,000 while people find exploding firecrackers will face 2,000 cash penalty.
On Thursday, the main secretary, home, Abhay Kumar in the Order stated that last year also a decision was taken after it was found that poisonous smoke emitted by Cracker was a health hazard for people who suffered from various diseases.
On Friday, the government also imposed various sentences.
“Every shopkeeper who sells firecrackers will be fined RS 10,000 while everyone who is found put out firecrackers will be fined Rs 2,000,” said the notice.
Meanwhile, litigation of public interests (pills) was submitted in the Rajasthan High Court on a ban on firecrackers.
It was said in the pill that during the Tokyo Olympics and the Dubai Expo Fireworks were permitted and the livelihood of several people depends on this industry.
