Punjab: 3 Khalistan Tiger Force Operators Arrested in Moga

Tarn Taran: The police have arrested three Operative Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) from Moga and seized weapons and ammunition from their ownership.
Tarn Taran SSP O S Ghumman said Kanwarpal Singh, Kulwinder Singh, and Kamalpreet Singh was arrested from Bhagwanpur Village in the Bhikhiwind area.
The police confiscated two boxes packed in foam (such as Tiffin bombs), two hand grenades (86p), and three 9mm pistols.
This is the fifth Tiffin bomb confiscated from the Punjab border area in the last 45 days, Ghuman added.
Previously, on August 8, Rural Police Amritsar had found five hand grenades, along with Tiffin bombs from Dalek Village in Lopoke.
Likewise, the Kapurthala police have also taken the two-hand grenade consignments, Tiffin bombs and other explosives from Phagwara on August 20.
The third Tiffin bomb was used to blow up oil tankers at the Ajnala on August 8, while the fourth was found in the field of Dharmpura Village in Fazilka on September 18.
SSP said that the development had come four months after Punjab police arrested three KTF activists, who were allegedly involved in several cruel crimes, including the murder of followers of Dera and shot a pastor.
“The three were found to be acting with the direction of the Head of the Hardeep Singh Nijjar based in Canada KTF,” the officer added.
Introduction Investigations revealed that module members have reached Tarn Taran to take the remittances of militant hardware dumped on the direction of Arshdeep Dalla based in Canada, Ajelis near Nijjar, the Word of Internal Security ADGP RN Dhoke.
He said KTF activists were waiting for further instructions from Dalla.
