LUDHIANA: Ludhiana deputy commissioner (DC) Varinder Kumar Sharma and municipal councillor Mamta Ashu on Monday dedicated an advanced life support ambulance to the people of the district.
Thanking city-based bicycle manufacturer Avon Cycles and its chairman Onkar Singh Pahwa for donation made for an ultra-modern hi-tech ambulance, an electronic mortuary van, and 15 oxygen concentrators, the DC said said that this ambulance would meet the increased demand for transportation of patients with an advanced life support system.
According to DC Varinder Kumar Sharma, “The ambulance has ventilator, ECG instrument, oxygen machine, defibrillator and infusion system, suction pump, stretcher, oximeters and first aid kit.
The mortuary van would provide free-of-cost hearse-related services.
