Chandigarh: Chararjit Singh Channi, who will become the new Punjab minister, has arrived in February, the Minister of Captain Amarinder Singh’s chairman as the face of the Congress for the 2022 Assembly election in Punjab.
Even though he might have a different opinion about land, his Facebook page reflects his loyalty to CM out until February 19 this year, when he uses a poster photo like ‘captain for 2022’ as his profile picture.

About a week ago, Channi changed the cover of the photo handling its official Facebook into photos like other posters.
This time, the theme is ‘Channi Team’.
A source at Congress said Channi could have followed the state unit line when he posted a photo of ‘Captain for 2022’.
“It’s all about perception,” said the source which was the aide of a parliamentary member at the Amarinder camp.
In February, Sunil Jakhar, whose name also did a round for post cm, was heading to the Pradesh Congress Committee Punjab.
Even though he was previously seen as an Amarinder loyalist, Channi had begun to divert loyalty to Sidhu at the last time had made the president of the Punjab Congress on July 18.
Channi, who was part of the Cabinet of the Minister of Amarinder, even accused the Punjab of the Polres of allowing a demonstration to move close to the Sidhu car while visiting Chamkaur Sahib on July 24.
He was also among the four ministers who had rebelled against CM in August this year.
