Ludhiana: Citizenship officials, while continuing with their encouragement against illegal colonies and buildings, destroying several buildings under construction and illegal colonies at the early stages on Thursday.
Officials claimed that the drive was carried out in the fourth zone in Punjab’s Ludhiana according to the direction of the Mayor of Balkar Sandhu and Commissioner of the City of Pardeek Sabharwal.
Officials destroyed a shop at Rahon Road while four industrial buildings were dismantled at GehLewal and Teacher Vihar located in Rahon Road.
They also dismantled one back of illegal building in Mann Dharam Kanda, the back of three buildings in Mann Dharam Kanda and two buildings in Mali Chowk.
Ganpati Colony Part 1 and 2 is also dismantled.
In BRS Nagar e block four stores excavated when commercial activities occur in residential areas.
One commercial building in Kailash Chowk and one booth near Cinema Orient was also dismantled.
Commissioner with Kulpreet Singh said people must follow the norms to avoid their losses.
