New Delhi: Punjab Head Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Thursday declared regret to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for violations in his security during a visit to the country and read a verse to expand his wish to long life to him, said the source.
Channi used the opportunity for Modi video interactions with the main ministers for the Covid-19 situation to deliver a message to him.
He regreted whatever happened during his visit to Punjab, told Modi.
Prime Minister respected to him, he added.
“Tum Salamat Raho Qayamat, Aur Khuda Kare Qayamat Na Ho,” he said in Hindi, read the verse to express his desire for a long life for him.
It was Channi’s first interaction with the Prime Minister since the incident in January 5.
