Chandigarh: Punjab CM Chararjit Brother Singh Channi Manohar Singh on Friday submitted his nomination papers from the seat of Bass Pathana as an independent candidate.
The Congress has deployed the Legislator of Gurpreet Singh GP from the Bass Pathana seat in the district of Fatehgarh Sahib.
After being rejected by a ticket, Singh previously said that he would compete as independent of this constituency.
On Friday, he told reporters that he fought with the selection of the Pathana Bass chair according to the “desire” of the constituency people.
Replying to the question, Singh said he was not annoyed with anyone.
“There is no rebellion,” he said.
