Chandigarh: Charanjit Singh Channi’s Minister of Punjab’s head on Saturday urged the Chairman of the Railroad Council to withdraw the case registered by the power of railroad protection against members of the farmer organization.
As part of the ongoing agitation of the three agricultural laws applied by the Center last year, members of different organizations and trade unions have held sit-in about the railroad tracks in Punjab for 2020 and this year.
The minister’s chairman has been impressed by the Chairperson of the Road Council to take a sympathetic view of this issue and consider the withdrawal of cases of members of various farmer organizations, a spokesman for the Office of the Minister of Chief.
The strength of the train protection has registered as many as 30 cases against them, said an official statement.
