Chandigarh: Former President of the Hanspal Punjab Congress on Thursday joined the AAM AADMI Party (AAP), inaugurated by his main ministerial candidate, Bhagwant Mann, and Punjab Affairs Raghav Chadha.
Hanspal wants a ticket for his grandson, Sunder Singh Hanspal, from Sahnewal.
Harsukhinder Singh Babby Badal from Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) and Bank Unionist K K Khgal also joined AAP with their colleagues.
Meanwhile, the former Cabinet Minister Jagmohan Singh Kang, who joined AAP, said he would campaign against Charanjit Minister Singh Channi in Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur.
Bhagwant Mann said on that occasion: “The support of this senior politician proves that the wind of politics is profitable for AAP.”
