New Delhi: Navjot Singh Sidhu, who has been in Loggersheads with the chairman of the Minister of Punjab captain Amarinder Singh and has vocal about the difference, will meet Rahul Gandhi in Delhi on Tuesday.
The source said that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra could also be present during the meeting.
Sidhu, who stopped as a minister of the Punjab Cabinet in 2019 after his portfolio was changed, has openly targeted Amarinder Singh, many uncomfortable flavors of the congress.
Rahul Gandhi has held a discussion with members of the Senior Party and Minister of Punjab to find a solution to the crisis in the state unit.
Incidentally, not Sonia Gandhi and Rahul did not meet Amarinder Singh when he was in Delhi to discuss the issue of the party with other senior party leaders.
Congress has also formed a panel of three members to end factionalism and strengthen the party in the state ahead of the assembly election next year.
The panel chaired by the opposition leader at Rajya Sabha Malikarjun Kharge and consisting of the Secretary General of AICC Incharge from Punjab Affairs of Harish and Former JP Aggarwal Parliament Member has suggested the construction of the state unit to accommodate all parts.
It sent a report to Congress President Sonia Gandhi.
The panel has asked Amarinder Singh to prepare a roadmap on 18 issues that delay actions in the state of the state, including actions against the land mafia and transportation and against those involved in the teacher of Granth Sahib teachers.
