Jalandhar: The President of the Punjab Congress Navjot Singh Sidhu along with the MLAS party and the minister, belonging to the abandoned castles, on Friday visiting two main Ravidassia communities – Sachkhand Ballan and Sant Pritam Dera Babe Jaure.
They first called Sant Niranjan Dass, who headed the Ballan Dera, which was the largest dera of the Ravidassia-Adi-Dharmi community and was quite influential, especially in the Doaba region.
Sant Nirmal Dass told Sidhu that young children from their community were also desperate to move abroad because they did not get a job here.
When the Kirti Livestock Union Union and BKU members (Rajewal) learned about his visit to Dera, they tried to reach there but were stopped by the police.
Then, the PPCC head and his team called Dass Sant Nirmal from Unfortunately Jaure, who headed Sri Teacher Ravidass Sadhu Sempardai Society, a conglomerate of several heavy people.
Sidhu said he came there to get blessings so that their party could “help the last man in line”.
He was honored by Sant Niranjan Dass.
Among those who accompanied Sidhu was Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, Aruna Chaudhary, two work presidents of Sukhwindent Danny and very Singh Gilarjian, 15 SC MLAS, former Union Minister Santosk Chaudhary, former PCC President Mohinder Congress Singh.
