Ludhiana: Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma on Wednesday reviewed Covid vaccination that was ongoing in the Ludhiana district.
Sharma said that 28.03.279 (106.51%) of the targeted population had received the first dose, while only 15.97,592 (60.70%) had advanced for the second dose.
Sharma said that all health workers and front lines and those with over 60 years already have other diseases qualify for booster shooting, if they have completed nine months from the date of their second dose vaccine.
He said that the staff in charge of carrying out assembly elections could get a booster dose even if they had not finished nine months after the second dose.
He said that now the staff could get a 90 day booster dose after their 2nd vaccination.
