Chandigarh: In guaranteed Minister of Health Punjab Balbir Singh Sidhu, the coordination committee with a government doctor on Friday decided to postpone agitation.

During the meeting, Sidhu assured doctors to restore NPA at the previous level and also promised to issue notifications in this case on July 6, doctors, however, warned that the struggle had just been postponed and if demands were not fulfilled.

Since last week, doctors of various civil hospitals and veterinary hospitals have committed work except emergency services to protest the recommendations of the sixth payment commission.
The combined committee announced that after a guarantee of the Minister of Health, all doctors in the country will carry out their work as usual from Saturday by placing a black badge and the next meeting of the Joint Committee will be held on July 6 to decide about the next strategy for the struggle.
