Punjab: Fire broke out in the textile unit in Ludhiana, no injury reported

Ludhiana: A big fire broke out in the Textile Unit Jawandsons Private Limited at Chandigarh Road on Wednesday.
The fire was on the fourth floor of the factory and black smoke covered the entire sky.
It was seen from Samrala Chowk and the commuter was posting a video of black smoke on social media.
The fire brigade must fight hard to control the fire because of the heavy wind.
The warehouse on the fourth floor also collapsed because it was difficult to control fire.
The factory staff also helped fire fighting to extinguish the fire because they had their own firefighting equipment installed in the unit.
Fire Extinguisers Maninder Singh said: “We have known about the fire incident at 3pm and 10 tenders of fire rushed to the place.
The smoke was very thick and created difficulties in controlling fire.
We did not realize the right cause of the fire but the workers pay attention to smoke and creating Hue and crying.
“He said fortunately there was no information about the victim or injury but it took time to control the situation.
Meanwhile Panic gripped Chandigarh Road where commuter saw black smoke in the sky.
The fire tender also moved there to control the situation and from seven sides of the fire fighters trying to control the fire.
