Punjab: Gas station owners threaten to reduce operating timings

Ludhiana: On the one hand, gasoline and diesel rates hit new highs every day, and on the other hand, the dealer of petroleum products and gas station owners rise against oil companies and the central government who accused that they did not earn.
The commission is sufficient and moreover, their business costs increase.
In a sign of protest against non-fulfillment of their demands, the Punjab Petroleum Dealer Association (PPDA) has threatened that its members will limit their pump operation time for fifteen days (November 7 to 17:00.
This was stated by the state President PPDA Paramjit Singh Doaba At meeting members of the association held on Saturday night in Ludhiana.
During the meeting, several members of the Association of various cities including Moga, Jalandhar, Ropar, Patiala, and Mohali were also present.
Overcoming members, Doaba said, “Some meetings have occurred with the Central Government and Although it marks our concerns about increasing the cost and insult to shrink, no one is done by the government because we have to think of a way to make ourselves sick.
“We fail to produce any results, then we will do a full strike and the next action will be decided after that.
