Ludhiana: Punjab Food, Minister of Civil Equipment & Consumer Affairs Bharat Bhushan Ashu on Sunday inaugurated the beginning of retrofit work and increased leisure valley at the city locality Posh Sarabha Nagar.
He said that this work must be done at a cost of Rs 2.80 Crore & must be completed within the next 3 months.
He was also accompanied by MP Ravneet Singh Bittu, Mayor of Balkar Singh Sandhu, MC member Amrit Varsha Rampal, Dr.

MP Ravneet Singh Bittu assured the collection that the captain Amarinder Singh LED Punjab has committed the overall development of the country.
He said that this recreational valley desperately needed repairs and will now be fully enhanced in the next three months.
While overcoming the meeting on that occasion, Bharat Bhushan Ashu said that the recreational valley was developed at Sarabha Nagar about 18 years ago and the regional residents had demanded upgrading for a very long time.
He said that at a cost of around Rs 2.80 Crore, works related to landscaping, increased irrigation systems, electrical work and lighting and civil infrastructure etc.

He said that several green belts and new recreation valleys have been developed in the city.
He told me that the work in the second phase of the Sidhwan Canal seaside project was in full speed and would be a prize for residents.
Bharat Bhushan Ashu said that the first phase of the Waterfront Canal Sidhwan project (a length of about 1 km from Jalan Ferozepur to Ferozepur Railway Line) at a cost of around Rs 4.74 Crore had been completed and a large number of residents visited their area with their children and family .
He told that this project included the development of green belts, special cycling lines, play zones, special pathways along the canal, sitting area, wall climbing activities etc.
In the second phase, the Sidhwan canal (from the Paketa road to Jalan Dugri) was being developed 1.6 km of the second phase (from the Jawaddi Bridge to Dugri Road) at a cost of Rs 5.06 Crore.
He further told that the green belt, plus a special cycle line on both sides, a double road along the canal, etc.

He further said that under the 3rd phase of this project, a seafront will be developed from Dugri Road to Dhuri Line.
He said that this around 800m stretch is located useless today, and when a seafront is developed here at a cost of around Rs 3 Crore, a large number of regional residents will benefit because they will be used to run Morning / night along with other recreational activities.
