Chandigarh: The Punjab region, Haryana and Himachal have 24 district retreat edges identified by the Grants University (UGC) commission.
These districts have been identified based on various educational parameters including the gross registration ratio (GER), the ratio of the college population and average registration per lecture by the expert committee formed by UGC.
