Punjab has a QR-code to track, track liquor supplies

Chandigarh: To prevent smuggling and sale of liquor, the Punjab government is ready to come with track-based tracks and trace mechanisms based on fast response code (QR) for supply of liquor.
In addition, the technical support unit (TSU) will be arranged for the implementation of feces of mud and holders (FSSM) in Punjab rural areas.
These decisions were taken at the Executive Committee meeting of the Punjab Infrastructure Development Board (PIDB), chaired by the Secretary of the Chief, Vini Mahajan, to review various infrastructure projects including those executed in public private partnerships.
Scan related officials to bring reforms to examine the smuggling and sales of fake liquor in the state, the main secretary said the QR code-based trace track and mechanism have been designed in the Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode, which will help in maintaining effective checks on false liquor and prohibited by monitoring real-time data and production verification and supply.
To provide further encouragement for infrastructure development in the state, Mahajan directs the relevant departments to accelerate the execution of the second phase of an urban environmental improvement program in the state.
The PIDB Executive Committee approved an increase in RS 300 Crore loans for phase 3 of the urban environmental improvement program to accelerate urban development in the state.
