Ludhiana: DS Chawla, President of the Cycle Manufacturer Association and Section (UCPMA), allegedly managed by several unidentified men during the Annual General Meeting (GMS) from the Group on Wednesday.
A group of three to four people pushed and kicked Chawla and the turban was also thrown during the incident.
It has been anticipated that unwanted incidents may occur in meetings because the bitterness that has increased between different factions aims to control the UCPMA Management Committee.
Then, a senior police officer visited the place and examined CCTV footage.
Meanwhile the GMS continued and ended shortly after the incident.
In other developments, the cabinet minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu who will attend the meeting as the guest head jump over the meeting.
