Ludhiana: The investigation wing of the income tax department, on Wednesday, raids on the leading two foreign exchange traders (Forex) from Jalandhar in Punjab.
According to the source of the department, the attack that began in the afternoon was carried out on two companies – Sardari Lal Forex and Happy Forex – and several places, including housing and commercial arrangements.
Raid came when the country flared up with political activities due to the election and funding assembly and donations that will come from NRI to several very anticipated politicians.
Sources also claim that raids are thought to have been carried out on these companies by suspecting income and not paying actual taxes on their income.
