LUDHIANA: Khanna police has detained a drug peddler of Delhi when it regained 1kg of heroin from his possession. The accused has been known as Gaurav of Mansa playground at New Delhi. Giving information on Wednesday, SSP Khanna Gursharandeep Singh Grewal stated that Khanna Police has established a special effort against drug trafficking and in that effort that the police party had set a test post in front of FCI Godown, on G.T. street at Doraha on Tuesday. He added that through assessing, police party stopped a Taxi automobile Honda Mobilio bearing registration number DL-10-CG-8695 coming from Khanna side and about being requested, the cab driver named himself as Pritpal Singh of Sardar Colony at Rohini in Delhi and the individual sitting back seat that hired the cab was known as Gaurav. Police officer stated that through assessing 1kg of heroin had been recovered in the ownership of those accused. He included that instance under parts of NDPS was filed against the accused and he had been detained into the subject in Doraha police channel. SSP reported that during first, questioning and investigation of Accused Gaurav it’s come to light which he had uttered this cab from Delhi Bypass into Zira (Punjab) in Rs 5000 plus that he obtained this consignment of heroin by some Nigerian Person residing at Delhi and had been going to furnish the exact same to a individual of Zira. He added that the offender is being questioning and through police remand, there’s a chance of important disclosures from where he’d attracted this to whom he needs to be sent.
