Chandigarh: As many as five people died of Covid-19, while 119 new cases of viruses appeared in Punjab on Monday.
Further daily test levels fell to 0.36% in the state.
In the last 24 hours, each death was reported in Amritsar, Barnala, Kapurthala, Mansa and Tarn Taran.
A total of 24 people were tested positive in Ludhiana, while 15 new cases were reported at Jalandhar, 13 in Bathinda, 12 in Muktsar, nine in Fatehgarh Sahib, six in Amritsar, five in Hoshiarpur, four in Faridkot, Kapurthala, Pathankot, Patiala and Tarn Taran, Three in Mohali, two of each in Fazilka, Ferozepur, Gurdapas and Sangrur, and one in Barnala, Mansa, Moga and Ropar.
Meanwhile, in ongoing vaccination drive, 1,89,160 people were vaccinated, where 115,794 received the first dose and 73,366 was given the second dose.
