Ludhiana: To keep Coronavirus in Bay during the celebration season, Deputy Ludhiana Commissioner Varinder Kumar Sharma has directed the Ministry of Health to conduct a broad sampling and supervision of Covid-19 in the district.
In the new direction, Sharma said that steps were being taken to ensure aggressive testing due to conquering viruses and asked health officials to ensure sampling at the district entry point, Tribun Bus, Railway Station, Teaching and Faculties who did not teach in schools and colleges , Hospitals, labor colonies and high population density areas, industries, de-addicted addiction centers, fitness centers and other places.
He directed health officials to arrange special testing camps on the market because they were expected to see maximum footsteps in the coming days.
He has asked the shopkeeper to ensure compliance with various guidelines in their place.
Sharma appealed to people to expand full support to the sampling team because it would help keep the aside average curve ensuring the safety of people from infectious diseases.
He said that the district government was fully prepared to overcome any situation that arises from Covid-19 pandemic and will not leave the stone missed to serve people.
Furthermore, he urged people not to be a prey of any rumor other than to follow safety precautions that include wearing masks, maintaining social distance, hand washing, among others.
