Ludhiana: 1,040 people, 914 from Ludhiana tested positive for Covid-19 on Tueday.
There are six deaths in the city.
The day before, 1,211 people, 1,041 from the district, had been tested positive for Covid.
According to the health bulletin, six people died because of Covid and they were 80-year-old women from Mundiyan Kalan, a 78-year-old man from Machhiwara and 64-year-old man from Ferozepur Road Ludhiana while three people who died from the outside area of Jalandhar District, Ferozepur and Malerkotla .
