Ludhiana: Jagraon City Police on Sunday posted an unknown angry, claiming to be a gangster, because of calling extortion to a social activist.
In his police complaint, Kapil Narula from the social service group said a caller called on his cellphone on June 25 at around 8pm and claimed that he was a Gangster Sukha Faridkotia.
He added that the caller told him to set Rs 20 lakh or he would kill him and his family.
The complainant said after that concessions continued to call him, but he did not pick up the phone.
He added that around 8:15 a.m., he received a text message that threatened from the caller.
The word complainant after the message, he told his family.
He was then handed over to the police recording of the Existion call and text message along with complaints.
After receiving the complaint, the police started the probe into this problem.
The police said the telephone number from the defendant was being tracked and he would soon be arrested.
