Ludhiana: Nihangs on Thursday allegedly tried to attack the leader of the Congress and the front chair of the Anti-Khalistan terrorist, Gursimran Singh Mand and President Amit Arora outside the Police Commissioner in Ludhiana.
Mand and Arora have gone to the police commissioner’s office in connection with the alleged case of taking land.
MAN said after meeting the police, they were attacked by Nihans outside the office.
Mand said that Nyang protested in the place of demanding Arora’s arrest for allegedly using condescending comments on Master Nanak Dev.
Mand says nihang runs chase them with a sword in hand and tries to attack them.
He said that security guards and police personnel save them.
He said he would file a complaint against the people who tried to attack them.
Denies the allegations of Mand’s Sikh group members say that they are outside the police commissioner’s office who is looking for action against the Anil Arora of Jamalpur.
They added that at first when the mand visited the office, no one reacted but when he returned from the office, he incited their members.
Commissioner with the police (headquarters), J Elanchezhian said that Sikh groups were in the parking lot and were waiting to meet the police commissioner.
He added that Mand and Arora also came there for some work and both groups had verbal spat.
The officer said that police officials calmed both parties.
He added that the police had not received complaints from the two parties.
