TARN TARAN: The police claimed to have thwarted the possibility of an attack after the arrest of one Saroop Singh and the recovery of 2 P-86 hand grenades made in China directly from his ownership on Monday.
Singh, a resident of Johal Dhai Wala Village in Tarn Taran District, was arrested from the checkpoint at Amritsar-Harisikan Road.
