Ludhiana: One floor of an unsafe building collapsed suddenly on Saturday while the owner had begun to dismantle his old building in Punjab’s Ludhiana.
There were no casualties regardless of the fact that the area was thick and the road remained busy.
The residents of the area complained that they had asked the owner to dismantle the building safely but he ignored them and their complaints at the Civic body office was also never heard.
On Saturday, some debris came to the road and after the first floor collapsed.
The area has been corrected.
The movement of the vehicle has been stopped on the road.
Electricity in the area is also disturbed.
One resident, Kunal Sachdeva, said the owner had begun to dismantle his own building because it was a very old but he did not take safety steps.
He said he even asked him to at least close the building with sheets but he didn’t listen.
