LUDHIANA: Authorities in Punjab’s Khanna city arrested three persons and recovered fake money with a face value of Rs 3,04000 in their ownership.
The accused had been identified as Ashu of Krishna Nagar, Mandeep Tandon Sunny of Basant Nagar along with Vikas Vicky of Uttam Nagar.
A police officer stated that the arrests were made after a tip-off from around Military Ground at Shiv Mandir region.
Authorities stated that the accused were questioned and the gear employed in producing the counterfeit currency notes would be retrieved through police remand.
