PATIALA: Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) on Sundays claim that there is a sudden interference in the power supply on June 30 and July 1 in the country because of a sudden failure of the second unit of Sabo Power Plant, thermal plant Ropar and Low level of power generation from the Bhakra Hydro project.
Now, PSPCL has issued a penalty notification to the thermal power plant Talwandi Sabo Power Limited (TSPL) not to ensure the availability of unit number 3.
PSPCL CMD A Venu Prasad said that the PSPCL has repeatedly directed TSPR to ensure the full availability of the three units in the rice season included Unit number 3 under the forced blackout that failed TSPL until now until the rice season in full swing.
