Chandigarh: The Punjab Government on Wednesday announced the neglect of loans of RS 590 Crore under the scheme of ignoring agricultural debt for workers and agricultural communities that did not have land.
The check will be issued on the state-level function on August 20, the official spokesman said on Tuesday.
The Punjab government will pay off a loan with the song Rs 520 Crore 2.85,325 members of the Primary Agriculture Cooperative Community (PACS), thus ascertaining RS 20,000 assistance per member, said CM Amarinder Singh.
The government led by the Congress has formulated a debt assistance scheme for farm workers and PACS-2019 agricultural members who do not have land, which will only include consumption loans to members of the primary agricultural cooperative community developed by the District Center Bank Cooperative in Punjab.
