Chandigarh: Dissent Brewing at the Government Congress in Punjab for months is now boiled on Tuesday, with at least 30 Mola, including the four ministers of the cabinet, rebelled openly against CM Captain Amarinder Singh and said they no longer had faith to give a promise poll.
The rebel camp also accused CM to be “hands in gloves with (President Shiromani Akali Dal) Sukhbir Singh Badal”.
Bugle for a full-scale rebellion against Amarinder sounded a month after the height of Amritsar East MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu as the Head of the State Congress.
While Sidhu did not exist when dissidents gathered in the Minister of Rustic Development of Rajinder Singh Bajwa on Chandigarh, the majority of them were believed to side with him in the battle of leadership.
A five member committee who represents the rebel camp will meet the Congress High Command in New Delhi to seek the removal of Amarinder, almost six months before the assembly polls matured in Punjab.
There is no group that has not leaked the word about who they wanted as a replacement.

Bajwa rebel minister said he and his colleagues first tried to “wake up” High Command Congress.
“If the high command doesn’t listen to us, we will decide on the next action,” he said.
