New Delhi: Two Farmers Groups – Balbir Singh Political Clothing LED Rajewal Sanyukt Samaj Morcha (SSM) and Gurnam Singh Samyukt Samyukt Sangharsh Party (SSP) – has entered the Alliance for the upcoming Punjab Punjab poll.
The head of SSP Gurnam Singh Chaduni said that his party would oppose 10 seats.
“Sanyukt Sangharsh Party and Sanyukt Samaj Morcha (led by Balbir Singh Rajewal) has reached an agreement for the election of the Punjab Assembly.
We (SSP) will oppose 10 seats,” said Gurnam Singh Chaduni told the media on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Sanyukt Samaj Morcha on Wednesday released a list of 17 candidates for the election of Punjab.
Until now, SSM has announced 47 candidates for the selection scheduled for February 20.
SSM and GULAM Singh Sanyukt Sanjharsh Party (SSP) has announced 57 candidates so far.
Polling to select 117 members of the legislature in Punjab will be held on February 20.
