Jalandhar: As ten more private hospitals in the process of installing pressure-based pressure-based oxygen generators in their place, Jalandhar Regency administration said that the district would be independent in terms of oxygen generation.
Some of these hospitals were withdrawn by deputy commissioners a few weeks ago after they failed to command this plant.
Providing details, Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said that ten hospitals had ordered the PSA-based oxygen generation factory.
He said that three new oxygen plants were being established in government companies including Jalandhar civil hospitals, the Basti Gujan Public Health Center, and Nakodar civil hospital, which will further strengthen the ability of the government-managed health care institutions.
He said that after the installation of this new oxygen plant, the capacity of the medical oxygen generation of the district will increase massively as the minimum and maximum oxygen production capacity of this plant will range from 250 to 750 LPMS.
Thori added that Mammoth training was launched a few months ago to increase the capacity of the district oxygen generation after experiencing the O2 crisis during the second wave.
He said that 11 hospitals while using district administrative appeal had put up their plants.
