Punjab: The first training of election staff held in various locations in Ludhiana

Ludhiana: Given the upcoming Vidhan Sabha selection, the first training staff training was held in 14 different locations in the Ludhiana Punjab district on Sunday.
District Election Officer – Deputy Commissioner of Ludhiana, Varinder Kumar Sharma, visited training sites on Sundays and motivated election staff to carry out their duties with maximum service and honesty.

While visiting training sites in Malwa Central College of Education for Women, SCD Government College and Khalsa College for women in Ludhiana, Varinder Kumar Sharma said that officials who put electoral assignments must feel proud that they have been assigned to work that is important.
He said that during today’s training, the electoral staff was trained on the entire selection process, their duty, handling the electronic voting machine (EVM), VVPat, in addition to several other aspects related to the selection process.

He also urged the election staff to get themselves vaccinated so that everyone remained safe from Covid.
He said that according to the direction of the Indian election election commission, the staff in charge of serving in the election of the upcoming Vidhan Sabha can obtain a booster dose even if they have not completed 9 months after the second dose.
He said that now the staff could get a 90 day booster dose after their 2nd vaccination.
Furthermore, DC said that a special vaccination camp for all selection staff including teachers, government staff, bank employees, insurance sectors, etc.

He told me that three other training will be held in the coming days and say that all staff stated for electoral assignments must focus on this important task, rather than finding ways to get exceptions.
